With the caveat, JPow probably can but... just goes to show showing off can have not so good consequences...

I have never witnessed a pro hopping 40 cm hurdles in a situation where it looked any faster than the guys who were dismounting. It usually looks slower in fact. Why do I say that? On more than one occasion, I have seen someone who is dismounting come into the hurdles after teh hopper and clear them sooner than the hopper.
