We interrupt this training report to complain about beer

I just had a Harpoon "Winter Warmer" holiday ale. It had a nice green label, and Harpoon has been good to me, so I didn't really look closely when I picked it off the shelf.

Oops.

Who the hell puts CINNAMON and NUTMEG in a beer?

Do they get all their sales by accident?!

...

The ski race this weekend is on! I'm going to put hundreds of miles on the car, and drop tens of dollars from my wallet, just to get owned by tens of junior racers who have been doing nothing but rollerski and hill bound all fall.

Whatever. When they beat me, I'll say to them, "Oh yeah? I bet you don't have a blog!"

And I'll be right. Because they only have their little myspace pages. Punks.

The same thing happened to me and another friend (on separate occasions) with the Harpoon holiday beer. An alarming beer experience, to say the least.

Thanks for the cool crossresults.com site. I raced 7 races, good thing you only tallied 4 of my races as I think my fitness dropped after my 2 week businss trip....sweet data though, no wcan you have the data tell me how to 'race so my leg's don't hurt'....

felt -- what are the other 2 races I missed? C men/B masters from Baystate got screwed up, that's on the to-fix list.

My link to your cxresults above. I had sickness at Sterling, but finished the C race, placed 4th at Milford in early season.

Nothing to report at Nats.

Upgraded to Killer B's for 07...

Did you get your Cat 3 upgraded yet? Also, how is there a sno ski race this weekend with no snow, now you have me intrigued...

I'm a huge fan of Red Hook's Winter Hook. It has a little spice in it, but not much. I'd say give that a shot.
